A railroad strategy game for 2 to 5 players. It serves as the thematic sequel to the game 20th Century Limited.
Set during the European railroad boom, players step into the shoes of ambitious train moguls building passenger routes for some of the most famous railroads in Europe. The game features a highly flexible hex-map of the continent, allowing you to choose exactly which regions to expand into and which cities to connect.
However, as your lines cover more ground, local governments will step in to nationalize your work, removing those scored regional routes entirely from the board. Victory goes to the player who can best balance private profitability with public demands before their hard work ultimately becomes property of the people.
